Luis Robert went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer Monday in a victory over the Blue Jays.

Robert went 2-for-4 with his seventh home run of the season and two RBI in Monday's 8-7 win. Robert swatted a two-run shot in the third inning off José Berrios to give the White Sox a 5-2 lead, and it went an estimated 436 feet. Robert extended his hitting streak to 11 games. The outfielder continues to swing a hot stick, and the homer along with a single ups his slash to .298/.332/.428. As long as Robert stays healthy, he should rank as one of the best outfielders by the end of the season.

White Sox placed 3B Yoán Moncada on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to June 18, with a right hamstring strain.

The strain -- which Moncada suffered this past Friday -- has been deemed mild, but it's enough to send the infielder to the IL. Jake Burger is at third base Monday and should be the regular there while Moncada is out.

Rays' Yandy Díaz and Randy Arozarena: Combined for not hits on Monday against the Yankees.

Díaz and Arozarena combined 0-for-8 against the Yankees in a hard-fought loss 4-2 on Monday night. Díaz had an RBI in the game while Arozarena struck out twice and left three runners stranded. Arozarena slash line is .249/.304/.406 and he is struggling recently exhibiting a BA of .080 in the last 7-games.

White Sox's José Abreu: Hitless on Monday.

José Abreu went hitless on Monday in an 8-7 victory against the Blue Jays. Abreu went 0-for-3, walked, scored, and struck out while his BA descended to .259. Abreu continues to be a force in the White Sox's lineup, and he should put better numbers during the second half of the season.

Marlins' Jorge Soler: Went 1-for-4 on Monday.

Soler was 1-for-4 on Monday's 6-0 loss to the Mets. Soler had a single and a strikeout, leaving his slash line in .219/.310/.434 for the year with 12 HR and 30 RBI. Not much is expected to change for Soler, who will probably hit 30-35 HR this season.

Blue Jays' Lourdes Gurriel: Did not start Monday. Gurriel sat Monday against the White Sox. Gurriel hit a grand slam in Sunday's win over the Yankees, but that wasn't enough to keep him in the lineup the next day. Raimel Tapia took over in the left field.

Yasmani Grandal (back) has been cleared to ramp up activities.

Also, it sounds like Grandal could potentially avoid a rehab stint if his workouts in the next few days go well. He is eligible for activation on Wednesday. Grandal is coming back from lower back spasms.
