Adolis García crushed his 20th home run of the season on Monday night, helping to power the Rangers to a 2-1 victory over the Twins in Minnesota.

García got the Rangers on the board with his mammoth 453-foot game-tying blast off of right-hander Sonny Gray in the fifth inning. It was hit only hit in four at-bats on the night. While many feared that García wouldn't be able to replicate his breakout 2021 season, he has silenced many of his detractors with an incredibly useful fantasy season again in 2022. He's now slashing .253/.300/.450 with 20 long balls, 76 RBI and 19 stolen bases. With his performance, Adolis continued his hitting streak extending it to 19 games.

Rays' Randy Arozarena: Powers Rays with home run.

Arozarena went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday's 2-1 win over the Angels. Arozarena drilled an opposite-field solo shot in the fifth inning, which ended up being the deciding factor in the Rays' victory. The home run is the outfielder's 17th of the season and helped improve his slash line .257/.325/.441. The 27-year-old has been a valuable asset this season, as he is just one of nine players with at least 15 home runs and 15 steals as he flirts with his second straight 20/20 season.

José Abreu reached base five time Monday as the White Sox fell to the Royals.

Abreu went 3-for-3 with two runs scored and two walks in Monday's 6-4 loss to the Royals.

Abreu knocked three single and came around to score twice. He's produced 11 multi-hit games this month, resulting in a .367 average with 14 runs scored through 21 contests. Abreu's season slash line is up to .313/.389/.468 with 43 extra-base hits and 68 runs scored.

José Barrero went 0-for-3 with a strikeout in the loss to the Phillies on Monday.

Incredibly, Barrero has a 31/0 K/BB ratio in 17 games since his callup. He's hitting the ball pretty hard when he does make contact, but a 50% strikeout rate simply isn't going to cut it. If he doesn't improve there over the next week or so, the Reds might choose to have him finish out the season in the minors.

Yasmani Grandal (knee) resumed swinging a bat on Monday.

White Sox manager Tony La Russa said that Grandal (knee) was able to take some swings in the batting cage Monday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

Grandal was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday after suffering what initially appeared to be a significant injury in Saturday's win over the Guardians, but the 33-year-old already looks to be making tremendous strides in his recovery just a couple days later. Taking swings in the cage likely presents fewer complications for Grandal compared to running the bases and playing catcher, but the fact that he hasn't been shut down from activity at least bodes well for him making a quick return from the IL. The White Sox are currently expecting Grandal to be sidelined for around 10-to-14 days with the left knee strain.

Jorge Soler (back) resumed hitting in a cage last week.

Soler has been on the shelf since late July due to lower back stiffness and there haven't been a ton of updates from the club on his rehabilitation process ever since. The 30-year-old slugger figures to make it back to Miami at some point in September, but that's not a guarantee with the Marlins out of the playoff picture.
